WEBCON2
    

In order to promote students and young scientists activities in Asia, the web contest WEBCON2 was successfully organized with around 80 participants on November 27 at the 33nd ACRS in Pattaya, Thailand. The main objective of the contest was to promote the development of web materials and ideas which may give us a future vision of the web related to geo-information sciences beyond gGoogle Earthh. Any students and young scientists who are less than 35 who have registered to ACRS could nominate their web materials to WEBCON2.

Total of eight web materials were nominated. After 20 minutes of presentation including Q&A, 90 minutes of free demonstrations were followed. Finally, the WEBCON2 Jury selected the following winners. The Winners were announced at the Student Session in the afternoon, and prizes were awarded to the winners.
