Outline:
Today, various kinds of disasters and earth environmental change phenomena are reported from many places of the world. The earth observation satellite technology is expected as one of the most powerful tools for monitoring these phenomena. In order to exchange satellite images and related data world wide in timely manner, the information network capability is essential.The Tokai University and the University of Alaska Fairbanks are seeking ways to integrate satellite images with the use of internet for disaster monitoring.
