Outline:
Today, various kinds of earth environmental change phenomena are reported from many places of the world. The earth observation satellite technology is expected as one of the most powerful tools for monitoring the global environmental changes. In the US/Japan Global Observation Information Network(GOIN) frame work, the Tokai University Research & Information Center(TRIC) plans to demonstrate the utility of disaster monitoring from space by exchanging and integrating various satellite images with the University of Alaska Fairbanks/Geophysical Institute(UAF/GI) via internet.
