1. Registration
More than 100 people have preregistered to the Symposium including 58 presentation speakers. If you are planning to attend the Symposium, please make a preregistration at

2. Student/Young Authors Award
In order  to assist students and young scientists to attend the Commission VI Symposium, the Japan Society for
Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (JSPRS) has created the Student/ Young Authors Award. By reviewing the full papers, JSPRS has decided to present the Award to

Mr. Diego Gonzalez Aguilera from Spain
Mr. Goksel Akkoca from Turkey
Mr. Jaakko Jarvinen from Finland

500USD will be presented to the awardees at the Welcome Party on June 27.

3. Titles of the Keynote Speeches
Following the welcome address by the ISPRS President Prof. Ian Dowman, the following keynote speeches will
be given at the Opening Session.

4. Technical Exhibition

5. ALOS News
The ALOS images and related information will be presented by the ALOS Prime Distributor RESTEC at the Technical
Exhibition. Prof. Haruhisa Shimoda of Tokai University will be presenting a short speech on the Current Status of

6. Sightseeing
On June 29, the Tokyo Bay Cruise Dinner Party will be organized. On the way to the cruising spot, we will visit a very historical town Asakusa.
